Penetration Bitumen

Solid tar penetration grading system is used for calculation of semi liquid  viscous bitumen (penetration grade)  ,that packing procedure is based on penetration depth and tar leniency (softness)  grade and usable in the  cold areas , on the contrary  low penetration grade is known as solidified  grade which usable in temperate areas , the bitumen penetration range defined by lengthening with standard needle apparatus  in special shape under is defined load bearing factor equals to 100 grams per 5 seconds exposing to 25 centigrade degrees temperature for range of penetration.

The penetration range is between 60 and 70 degrees, e.g. bitumen 60-70 is applicable mainly for road construction the bearing softness or lenient point between 49 and 56 C º
